Road to Xibalba
In a world where the unity of consciences towards our powerful nation, the ball game “Pitz” was so important for our people, since through it, the leaders of the towns presented their successors (children) to the people, since in Pitz no one can hide, that is why the shape of the court is due.
The game
Pitz is an asymmetric abstract strategy game, in which we represent a group of Mayan children, years before the New Age (the fall of Anahuac), shortly before the arrival of Columbus to our lands.
Chips
In Pitz you will represent a team made up of two of the three factions: Jaguars, Snakes and Eagles, along with a captain with unique movements and abilities which together will make up your pieces for each set.
Your turn
On your turn you are forced to do one thing only. Move one of your pieces, either to set up your piece for your next move, push another piece, throw another piece or throw the ball to make a shot. If you make a shot, it can be directed at the hoop, into the open field to set up your next move or to another piece to make a chain of passes.
Aim
The objective of the game is to get the ball into the hoop, the player who reaches the hoop three out of five times wins the game.
